CHALLENGE

His comment
speared its query
thru' my hardened mind
ripping thru' complacency
and tossing tattered thoughts
into a basket full of
Reason

How sluggishly
we think at times,
blissfully meandering
the common way -
quite without question
for the every day.
blandly accepting, and
smug in our truth

What he said
was
"Isn't it strange
how weak we are
and yet,
what strength we have
to conquer and survive".

It made me
think,
how weak we are in health,
how strong in dying will

and

have I ever understood
true weakness,
or known where lies my
strength?
