 CHANGE
Angry eyes. Closed lips. Wrapped in your defenses And wearing many masks. You came hostile, Ready to explode with accusation And hiding all the hurt The lonely child within, The twisted longing and the raw despair. What can we do? Sympathy is not the answer. We can listen to your rage against the world, And hold your fighting arms And watch your tears. We can wait. Wait for you to Understand we CARE. And trust may never come, But you will find the answer's not in US. Not in our words. Advice. Or Even in our Love. We wait. For you to find your way Behind your walls, your masks Your strong denial of Self. To dare the risk of finding Truth, And face with honesty and light Your own real WORTH. Your right to stand just where you are, And always - we will stand beside you. For what? For you to understand Your choice is CHANGE. And that with change A stronger YOU can reach the mountain top. Not without fear. Not without storm. Not without risk. But with the confidence that What you are, and what you have become Has shed pretense, And in Reality are building blocks For what you most desire.
