  TEETERING
sunrise. sunset.
between the two.
Day. Night.
What do the hours catch
falling from Day,
tumbling from Night?

What if the sun does not rise,
does not set.

what then?

is this life or is it death
caught between hours
hot light
cold light

dimming awareness
mental fog
razor sharp
sliced memories
unedible bite size
pieces of horror

choice is not an option
between the two
sunrise. sunset.
night. day.

juxtapose the hours
and life becomes death
death becomes life

somewhere
children scream

endless
howls of condemnation
link sunrise world
sunset world

hot light
cold light

memorial to
pain
